Ex-Rolling Stone Mick Taylor Announces Australian Tour 2013

Fresh from joining his former band on stage in London earlier this week, Guitar god and former Rolling Stones member Mick Taylor will play club shows in Australia in April 2013.

The tour will be Taylor’s first visit to Australia in 40 years, having last come to our shores with the Rolling Stones in 1973. He’s already put aside two dates in Melbourne, and will also visit Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Coolangatta, Newcastle and Ferntree Gully.

Taylor’s fluid blues and jazz-infused guitar lines have featured on some of the most important recorded moments in rock history. The show will feature a catalogue of hits ranging from his early work with the legendary John Mayall’s Blues Breakers and the Rolling Stones to his own solo work.

Taylor will be joined on stage by a band filled with long‐time friends and musicians, whom he has toured with around the UK, in Europe, Japan and the US,
