John Farnham, Daryl Braithwaite, Vanessa Amorosi & more are getting together for a charity gig this December.
Aussie rural charity Rural Aid has announce the lineup for a concert called ‘Hay Mate – A Bush Christmas Appeal For Our Aussie Farmers’.
The stellar lineup also includes Jon Stephens, All Our Exes Live In Texas and Russell Morris, with all profits going to Rural Aid’s ‘Buy A Bale’ campaign.
It’s a cause close to Farnsey’s heart, with the man himself declaring in a statement; “Farmers are the backbone of this country.
“I understand what they are going through,” he continued. “They are doing it tough through this drought. Not only do we want to help out, we want to show them that they have our support.”
Buy A Bale supports farmers and rural communities, helping to deliver hay and other essential items to farmers.
“There are times when we need to stand together to support those in need, and our farmers are doing it tough,” said organiser Glenn Wheatley.
“I can’t thank the performers enough for agreeing to participate.
“Their support to this cause is enormous. It is a credit to them, and I do hope Australians get behind this bush Christmas appeal to support our farmers.”
