One of the most popular and well-organised boutique summer festivals to hit the east coast has announced its plans for 2013. Festival Of The Sun will be returning to its home turf of Sundowner Breakwall Tourist Park in Port Macquarie, and will kick off in December as usual, but this year will be different from the rest.
Kicking off on Friday, 13th December, organisers have announced they will be making the most of the Black Friday coincidence, inviting punters to don their scariest costumes for the weekend event. Think Day Of The Dead type of costumes, or anything you can think of that calls the darkness home. Please someone go as Jason Voorhees – you know it must be done.
If you’re one of those cats who can’t get down with the whole costume thing, fear not – though you might miss out on some off the wicked cool prizes going down, you’ll still be able to bask in the lineup. We can expect names to start appearing on the poster this coming August, and with an 8-year-long rep of peddling chiller vibes and damn good music, they are sure to deliver a more than worthy roster of talent.
