Back in November of 2019, we learned Groovin the Moo would be travelling around the country in April and May of this year, hitting the regular spots Wayville, Canberra, Bunbury, Bendigo, Townsville and Maitland.
Apart from dates and venues, organisers were fairly tight-lipped about other details at the time – namely, who might be featuring on the festival’s lineup this go-around.
However, now it appears old mate Angus Stone has revealed his project Dope Lemon‘s place on the bill for GTM 2020.
As triple j report, in a new email newsletter from the songwriter encouraging fans to vote for Smooth Big Cat track ‘Hey You’, Stone concludes with the message “Thanks again and see you all at Groovin The Moo in April!”
There you have it. No word yet on who else might be appearing on the bill, but if last year’s stellar lineup is anything to go off – Billie Eilish, Angie McMahon, Trophy Eyes, G Flip, Holy Holy and stacks more – I’d say we’re in for a good one.
Angus will be joining sister Julia to perform at the extremely already sold-out Down To Earth next month, a fundraiser concert for bushfire and climate relief efforts at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne which also features the likes of Gang of Youths, Thelma Plum, Briggs and more.
