Five Finger Death Punch Announce Australian Headline Shows Around Black Sabbath Tour

UPDATE 31/03/16: Five Finger Death Punch have cancelled their Australian tour, including Black Sabbath support, after frontman Ivan Moody was hospitalised.

Heading our way to support Black Sabbath in April, US heavy metal outfit Five Finger Death Punch have just announced two all-ages Australian headline shows for during Sabbath’s tour.

Playing in Sydney and Melbourne only, Five Finger Death Punch have announced their Aussie headline sets after crashing into the ARIA Charts at #3 with Got Your Six, funnily enough their sixth studio album. Their highest Australian chart position ever, the album follows the band’s two global smash hits, 2013’s The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell Volumes 1 and 2 which debuted at #13 and #29 respectively.

Considering Five Finger Death Punch’s 2011 album American Capitalist only debuted at #50, it seems Aussie metal fans have been growing to love the group, while the band couldn’t bear not to treat them to their trademark brutal live show.
