Fleetwood Mac Receive Huge Streaming Boost After Viral TikTok Video Of Dude Just Vibing Out

By now, you’ve likely seen the viral TikTok video of a man named Nathan Apodaca – better known as @420doggface208 – that sees him skateboarding while drinking a giant bottle of cranberry juice, while lip-syncing along to Fleetwood Mac‘s 1977 hit ‘Dreams’.

The video, is a brief moment of chill and pure-hearted escapism at a time of widespread turmoil, and more importantly, it’s just a whole ass vibe. It’s since ranked up millions of views.

Likely as a result, the band have seen a huge increase in streaming numbers for ‘Dreams’ in just days. The Rumours classic is currently sitting at #80 on Spotify’s global Top 200 chart – for context, it wasn’t ranking at all just a week earlier. In Australia, the track is at the #46 spot, when a week earlier it was sitting around the 100 mark.

As Billboard themselves acknowledge, the spike in Spotify streams means there’s an”incredibly high” chance the song’s uptake could see it reenter the Billboard charts some 43 years after it was first released.

Apodaca has since followed up his original video with another, thanking those who picked up on the vibes the absolute king was laying down. He’s also shared his Paypal details should you want to send a few bucks his way.

“I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart from DoggFace, me and my family, to all you guys,” Apodaca says in the video. “Reach for the stars, you know what I mean?”

Fleetwood Mac themselves have since chimed in, taking to Twitter to share the video and say they loved it. Absolute vibe and a half.
