Frank Iero Will Return To Australia For A National Tour

Frank Iero has announced that he’ll return to Australia in October, following two incredible acoustic shows in Sydney and Melbourne in January this year.

The former My Chemical Romance band member was originally touted to tour the country with Soundwave – and now he’ll be bringing his punk outfit, the recently renamed Frnkiero andthe Patience.

Fans on Twitter are already incredibly excited, but even more are confused about the unexplained name change.

In anticipation of the tour Iero had this to say in a statement; “I think fans can expect to finally hear Stomachaches in a full band setting and probably even get a taste of what’s to come from the new record. And actually it’s going to be the first time we get to bring some of these songs to life so… I’m real excited for that to be in Australia.”

Joining Iero on tour will be New York singer-songwriter Walter Schreifels, a founding member and songwriter for bans including Gorilla Biscuits, Quicksand and Rival Schools.

Tickets are on sale Thursday, 26th May – with full details below.
