Sydney’s six-man dance party Furnace and the Fundamentals have announced a national tour for next year, hitting the road from late February 2020.
For the over-the-top cover band’s next jaunt around the country, they’re bringing a show called Furnapalooza to stages, a party set that sees them perform “the greatest songs of all time” – from Beyonće to Queen – accompanied by a “memory-triggering matrix” of music footage on the big screen, light-up suits, inflatables and all manner of hijinks.
It’s been a big year for the Fundamentals crew, who’ve capped it off in festive style by releasing new full-length album A Very Furnace Christmas and performing a pair of sold-out Christmas parties at Sydney’s Oxford Arts Factory.
“Australia! It’s been too long since we’ve been around our home country so we’re going all out & bringing the full Furnapalooza party to everyone in Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane & Sydney from Feb to April 2020. Can’t wait to party with you!” says the band’s Furnace.
