Gap And Kanye West Unveil First Drop From Collaborative Fashion Line

Almost a year ago, it was announced that Gap and Kanye West have been cooking up something good with their first collaborative fashion line dubbed Yeezy Gap. Today, they’ve shared the first item from the collection.

The first item is a blue “round jacket”, made from recycled nylon. The item is set to retail for $200 USD. And unfortunately for us folk here in Australia, it’s only going to be available to those in the US.

If you’re reading this from the US, congrats. You can pick up this plastic dream by signing up for pre-order. It will ship later in the year.

Floating projections of the piece will be installed in New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago.

Gap have previously spoken on the collaboration, saying that Yeezy’s design studio, under West’s creative watch, aimed to create “modern, elevated basics for men, women and kids at accessible price points”.
