Big Day Out 2013 is so close that you can almost taste it, and with that comes the plethora of sideshows featuring headlining love from a huge chunk of the bill. It will be an awesome time if you’re holding tickets to some or even one of them, not so much if you ain’t – but we’re here to fix that.
While in town for the aforementioned Big Day Out madness, the always forward-thinking Brooklyn-based duo Sleigh Bells will be hitting up both Sydney’s Metro Theatre and Melbourne’s Billboard for their co-curricular activities, bringing with them professional party animals and ARIA winners DZ Deathrays, Vampire Weekend’s BIAO (only for the Sydney performance) and of course the I OH YOU DJ crew get to warm the crowd to a fevered pitch.
So, you want in? Well, it’s not gonna be that simple. Actually wait – it will be, thanks to the cool cats from I OH YOU.
We will be giving away 2 double passes to the Melbourne show and to the Sydney show. All you need to do is email giveaways@musicfeeds.com.au with your name and contact number, and state which of Sleigh Bells’ glorious selection of albums takes the crown as your favourite. Pretty easy, yeah?
A teeny tiny reminder: the shows are 18+, so if you’re not of age, you’re not getting in.
