Music Feeds has gotten together with Lion House Music to organise a couple of double passes for 2 lucky people in Sydney and Melbourne for the Katchafire Tour which hits Australian shores this Thursday!
They’re touring to promote their new album On the Road Again, and bringing a swag of new tunes and fresh renditions of their timeless classics. And just to make sure you’re feeling their good vibes, the band will be donating a percentage of profits from this tour to help rebuild Christchurch through the Christchurch earthquake appeal.
Having gone gold and fast approaching platinum in their homelands of Aoteoroa / New Zealand, this album has been making some serious waves. With the past 3 Katchafire records predominantly being written by lead singer Logan Bell & keys/sax/vocalist Jamie Ferguson, the new album marks an exciting new time for the band. It’s the first record that the whole band has contributed to as writers, which has brought out some soulful new flavours.
On the Road Again, is out now through Lion House Records, this album is Katchafire at its finest: super catchy, soulful roots reggae music, done just right.
