Glastonbury 2014 wrapped up on Sunday after showcasing some of the world’s greatest musical talents. Courageous punters braved the rain and mud to catch their favourite performers, but now the rest of us can relive each and every moment from the comfort of our computer chairs.
Below, and arranged for your viewing pleasure, are some of the biggest, brightest and most exciting sets and performances from Glastonbury 2014. There’s an abundance of acts who are set to play at Splendour in the Grass in late July, each of them offering a very tasty preview of things to come.
There’s also massive sets from acts who’ve recently toured Australia, who we’d like to see tour Australia, who will be touring soon, as well as tunes from musical living legends and even some home-grown talent, who took to Glasto stages to show punters what Aussie musos are made of.

Who’s Playing Splendour in the Grass 2014

The Aussies

The Living Legends
Ah, the living legends. Glastonbury’s final evening was headlined by metal stalwarts Metallica, even though some tried to get them kicked off the bill. Other legends who took to the Glasto stages included country singer Dolly Parton and everyone’s favourite Debbie Harry-led group, Blondie.

Who We Want To Tour Soon
Now, of course, there are many artists we want to see touring Australia ASAP, including rock’n’roll heavyweight Jack White, melodramatic pop star Lana Del Rey, as well as the Kaiser Chiefs, The Horrors, The Black Keys, Bombay Bicycle Club, Ed Sheeran and Kodaline. Most of these artists have only recently put out new material, so we should be graced by their presence soon enough.

Who’s Touring Soon
Holding down the fort in the ‘Touring Soon’ category are Swedish electro magicians Little Dragon, who will make their highly anticipated return to Australian shores in August after releasing new album Nabuma Rubberband earlier this year. Meanwhile, outspoken UK rockers Kasabian also showcased their shenanigans at Glastonbury and they’ll be touring Australia this August.
