Prepare ya’ livers because 2018 is set to be the summer of the GOON SLUSHIE.
In the most Strayan’ twist imaginable on last year’s frosé beverage craze, Melbourne alternative nightclub Bang! has dreamed up the diabolical concept of transforming the humble goon bag into an icy summer cocktail and ALL BETS ARE OFF.
Bang! hatched the idea for the game-changing Aussie liquid refresher in honour of their forthcoming ‘Not Quite NYE Haus Party’ on December 30th, headlined by ‘Australia’s first goon-themed band’, party punks Keggin.
The bash will also feature live sets from Rad Island and Mannequin Death Squad, with the usual DJs keeping all your favourite punk, rock, hip-hop, party & metal tunes raging across four rooms.
“Let’s be honest, the city is going to be gross AF on NYE, so come party with us the night before like a real legend, and we’ll treat you with a HUGE ‘Haus Party’ with a bunch rad stuff going on!” organisers write on the official Facebook event.
Plus there’s plenty of free stuff, including party hats & poppers, party pies & chicken nuggz and even free jelly shots at midnight! Not to mention an ‘Awkward Family Photobooth’ to cap off this dumpster fire of a year with some appropriately awks squad snaps.
