GWAR frontman and self-described Undying chaos-demon, Lord and Master of Earth Oderus Urungus has lashed out at the appalling lack of support from US Media for embattled Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe.
Taking to Twitter, Urungus is infuriated by the lack of coverage, mainly in the States, over the manslaughter related charges Blythe faces. Pointing out that had it have been a pop sensation, publications would be up in arms and the American consulate would stop at nothing to get them free.
Both frontmen are from Virginia, RA and have also toured together. If there’s anything we’ve learnt from Slipknot, it’s that just because someone wears a mask, doesn’t mean opinions aren’t highly valid.
Waiting anxiously to hear the fate of the human Randy, he is a honorary slave who has died for GWAR many times.

Alarmed by the lack of outrage in the entertainment community. If this was a pop artist the media would be all over this.

Urungus believes the whole thing stinks of a shakedown, and music people should be doing more to get to the bottom of what really happened.
Thats right I am fucking appalled at the LACK of concern in the US media for the fate of Randy Blythe…

Naw, just because Randy is in a nasty metal band you can just throw his ass in jail anytime you want.

And for all you Blythe-haters, eat a bowl of dick. Randy is one of the coolest mofo’s on the planet. Don’t be hating, that’s my job.

The rant continues on his Twitter page even still with many people joining in in support. Could this be a show trial?: the end result of promoters, booking agents, and venue operators passing the blame until it landed at the feed of the band? Or did Blythe really, really mess up?
