Hellions Leak Massive ‘10 Years Of Opera Oblivia’ Australian Tour

Hellions really said “we’re back” and immediately chose violence.

After six long years, the Sydney genre-benders only just reunited onstage last night at Crowbar Brisbane – and fans have already uncovered what looks to be their next massive move: a full-blown 10 Years Of Opera Oblivia Australian tour locked in for May 2026.

Yep. While punters were busy losing their minds during the band’s first show back (as a four-piece) since 2019, some sharp-eyed legends noticed mystery flyers plastered around Crowbar promoting a special Opera Oblivia anniversary show at The Triffid on Friday, 15th May 2026. The flyer featured a sneaky QR code leading to a very real Moshtix presale page… and suddenly the group chat was on fire.

The ticket listing confirms it’s not just a one-off either. According to Moshtix, “Sydney’s genre-defying rock titans, HELLIONS, are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their ARIA-nominated, career-defining album, Opera Oblivia, with a massive Australian tour in May 2026.” The description goes on to call the record a “genre great” that “smashed expectations, redefined the boundaries of Australian heavy music, and delivered a phenomenal #4 debut on the ARIA Charts.”

The Moshtix page also confirms the tour will see Hellions perform Opera Oblivia in full, front to back – from the explosive hooks of ‘Quality Of Life’ and ‘Thresher’ through to the album’s sprawling theatrical movements – promising what the listing describes as the “full, cathartic experience of their exhilarating and confident opus.”

This news comes hot on the heels of the band’s big reunion announcement earlier this month, when founding members Dre Faivre, Anthony Caruso, Matthew Gravolin and Joshua Campiao confirmed they were officially back and kicking off with two intimate shows at Crowbar Brisbane (Dec 27) and Crowbar Sydney (Dec 31). What started as rumours of a cheeky Opera Oblivia anniversary moment has now very clearly snowballed into something way bigger.

No official tour announcement has landed yet – but with Moshtix pages live and flyers literally stuck to pub walls, it feels less like a leak and more like Hellions casually tossing a match on the reunion hype and walking away in slow motion.
