Henry Rollins Stars In Los Angeles International Airport Tourism Video

Former Black Flag vocalist, Los Angeles resident and punk legend Henry Rollins spends a lot of time in the air, touring and travelling the globe.

As such, it turns out he knows a thing or two about navigating Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and has thusly starred in a new video guide to the airport commissioned by the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board.

“I consider myself a citizen of the world,” Rollins explains at the beginning of the clip. “I am out in it often. While I am gone over 162 days a year traveling and touring, my home base is LA. I spend an inordinate amount of my time at LAX. Here’s a few tips to help you power through and enjoy the ride, even before you board the plane.”

Rollins goes on to guide viewers through airport check-in, security, customs, baggage and more. He also gives a pair of very adorable therapy dogs a little cuddle, which is worth the price of admission alone.

The clip is the first part in a series called ‘Rollins’s Rules’, which will see the vocalist and public speaker offering help on navigating Los Angeles.

Last month, Rollins joined Cyndi Lauper live onstage to duet the Black Flag classic ‘Rise Above’.
