Coburg Velodrome will host the Sun Cycle festival for the fifth time this New Year’s Day. The people at Crown Ruler, WAT Artists and Untitled have put together a mammoth lineup for the 2024 event, including big-name overseas acts Erika de Casier, Jayda G and Overmono.
On the local front, Mildlife will deliver a set of psychedelic jazz and prog rock, while fast-rising hip hop and neo-soul artist Miss Kaninna will perform her breakout singles ‘Blak Britney’ and ‘Pinnacle Bitch’. The lineup also includes Australia’s baddest Vv Pete, Berlin-based producer Objekt, and a b2b set from Moktar and DJ Plead.

Sun Cycle kicks off at midday at Coburg Velodrome, located near Batman Station in Melbourne’s north. Third release tickets are on sale here for $160 plus fees.
