ORIGINAL STORY: The countdown to Splendour In The Grass‘ 2018 lineup is officially on, with organisers today revealing exactly when they’ll unveil their much-hyped new roster.
With a countdown going live on the Splendour In The Grass website, we now know the 2018 Splendour lineup will arrive at 8:10am AEST on Wednesday, 11th April
So, who will be on the lineup?
UK indie rockers The Wombats have already said they’ll “definitely” be playing Splendour this year, while the likes of Franz Ferdinand, MGMT and Superorganism have thrown their hats into the ring of possibilities.
Big-name acts like Arctic Monkeys, Jack White and Kendrick Lamar have some suspicious Splendour-sized holes in their touring schedules, while a number of other A-grade acts have already been ruled out.
Last year’s Splendour lineup was headlined by Queens Of The Stone Age, The xx and LCD Soundsystem, and also featured big names like Royal Blood, Haim, Sigur Rós and Two Door Cinema Club.
Check out six big-name acts we think will play this year’s festival (and why), below.
Splendour In The Grass will return to North Byron Parklands between 20th and 22nd July.
