It’s rare that a debut EP garners admiration from Pitchfork, NME and The Guardian, but when one does, it’s a good sign to start paying attention. Enter High Highs.
Corresponding with their performance at the illustrious Laneway Festival, the New York-based outfit will rock out for two very special sideshows at Melbourne’s Toff In Town, and Sydney’s OAF. Hitting the shelves just in time for the performances will be the group’s debut full-length album. Currently in its final stages, the LP consists of single Open Season, as well as other stand-out tracks Once Around the House, Milan, and In a Dream.
Showcasing indie rock on one of the broadest spectrums you’ll ever encounter, High Highs vibrant, harmony-thick stylings transform into a mesmerising live performance, a performance that will drag you in no matter what and keep you there until, well, until they’re done with you.
