Your favourite band’s favourite band are coming down under to support The Dillinger Escape Plan. Industrial hardcore punk-rap disruptors H099o9 (pronounced “Horror”) have just been unveiled as the official support act for Dillinger’s Aussie reunion tour this August.
The fiercely underground American duo, whose high-profile fan club includes the likes of Corey Taylor, Travis Barker, The Prodigy, HEALTH, JPEG Mafia and Ghostemane to name but a few, will be opening up the pit for Dillinger on all five of their local headline shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

If you haven’t heard of Ho99o9, that’s because they want it that way. Since forming in 2012, the duo have done everything in their power to protect their cult status. Their goal is to be the band that is spoken of in whispers, in the shadows, only by folks in the know. As artists, they DGAF about money or fame, and they rarely, if ever, do media appearances or interviews. They prefer to let their volatile live shows do the talking.
Meanwhile, Dillinger are returning down under after resurging from an eight-year hiatus. The extreme metal icons will be using the occasion to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album, Calculating Infinity.
