Hoodoo Gurus Expand ‘Stoneage Romeos’ Tour Into 2025

Hoodoo Gurus have once again expanded their national Australian tour, which will now take place across a total of 26 dates between November 2024 and February 2025. The tour is to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the band’s debut studio album Stoneage Romeos, which was originally released in March of 1984. The full updated tour schedule can be found below.

After selling out the majority of the tour, as well as second shows in cities such as Thirroul and Perth, the band have now added nine new shows to the run. This includes a second date at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre, as well as new regional Victorian dates in both Bendigo and Geelong. The tour will now conclude at Sydney venue Selina’s, which will be shutting down in 2025 – a venue that the band previously played several times throughout the early 90s.

“We’re really looking forward to going back to our old stomping ground for the tour grand finale,” said frontman Dave Faulkner in a press statement. “It won’t just be the end of a tour, it’ll be the end of an era: The Gurus at Selina’s for the last time. We’re gonna shake the joint down to its foundations.”

A slew of new support acts have also been added to the tour with its expansion. Having previously announced shows with the likes of Tumbleweed, Screamfeeder and Dallas Crane, the band will now be joined by the Tim Rogers-fronted Hard-Ons for shows in Melbourne and Sydney and Magic Dirt for both the regional Victorian and newly-announced Queensland shows.
