Later this month, Hulu will be unveiling their latest music docuseries, McCartney 3, 2, 1. Hosted by Rick Rubin, the six-part doco will take a deep dive into the musical history of Sir Paul McCartney, detailing his life and career from his time in The Beatles, to now.
Today, the streaming service have unveiled the first trailer to promote the series, which is due to launch on Friday, 16th July.
The trailer features cuts from Rubin’s various interviews with McCartney. It promises of “untold stories”, “unheard music” and “unforgettable memories”.
There are of course some of The Beatles’ biggest hits scattered throughout the trailer, making for a heartwarmingly nostalgic and retrospective introduction. Aside from the familiarities, there’s also a few rogue cuts mentioned, including a raw cut of ‘Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds’ that McCartney seems shocked to hear.
