Veteran metal outfits, Sweden’s In Flames and Germany’s Kreator, will head to Australia next year for a run of co-headlining tour dates. The tour – aptly dubbed ‘Klash of the Titans’ – will kick off in Adelaide on Tuesday, 13th February.
The bands will then move through Melbourne, Canberra, and Sydney, and finish up at the Tivoli in Brisbane on Sunday, 18th February. Check out all the dates and details below, and you can sign up now for pre-sale access.
In Flames: ‘End The Transmission’
Swedish death metal band In Flames were in Australia earlier this year touring with Knot Fest – in Music Feeds‘ review, Brenton Harris said the band was still “world-class”, but their setlist polarised fans. “There are just a lot of fans who’ll never get over them abandoning their roots,” Harris wrote, after observing that fans didn’t respond very warmly to the band’s newer material.
In Flames released a brand-new album Foregone just before Knot Fest. As for thrash heroes Kreator, the upcoming tour is the band’s first in Australia since 2017. The band released a new album, Hate Über Alles, in 2022.
