The first couple of hip-hop, Jay-Z and Beyonce, are reportedly working on a collaborative album. The news comes just days after the couple completed their joint On The Run tour in Paris. Having grossed over $100 million on the North American tour alone, a follow-up album would be the next logical step.
“The biggest couple in music, maybe entertainment, maybe the world, they’re working on an album together,” said Dash Radio DJ Skee, who broke the news. “You know who I’m talking about, Jay-Z and Beyonce. I have confirmed and talked with a couple sources. Now we all know what Jay-Z did Samsung last year. We all know how Beyonce came out of nowhere. But this secret would top all of them.”
If the report is true, it wouldn’t be the first time the superstar couple have hit the studio together. In addition to their lucrative joint tour, the pair’s collaborations include Beyonce’s signature tune, 2003’s Crazy in Love, the Kanye West-produced ’03 Bonnie and Clyde, and last year’s Drunk in Love.
