Two of Australia’s most internationally successful musical expats of recent years – Tones And I and Kaiit – are helping with the launch of sportswear brand PUMA’s new Australian livestream series ‘PUMA Sessions’.
Taking place next Friday night (31st July), both artists will be giving a performance from 8pm AEST on PUMA Australia’s Instagram account, @PUMAAU.
In addition, both Tones And I and Kaiit have chosen to use this opportunity to support Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance (WAR) – Naarm (Melbourne), a collective that is, per a press release, “committed to the cause of decolonisation and the philosophy of Aboriginal nationalism.”
“I’m really excited to be able to be part of the inaugural PUMA Sessions in Australia, where not only do I get to perform again but I get to help raise money for an important collective like WAR, as well as perform alongside Tones’ – who has been a creative peer and friend for some time,” Kaiit said in a press statement.
“I’m excited for everyone to see what magic we’ve all whipped up!”
PUMA Australia have pledged that, for every new follower they gain in the 24 hour period following 8pm AEST on Friday, 31st July, they will donate $1 to Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance.
