Kanye West Confirms Tilt At US Presidency In 2024

Following the release of his latest album Jesus Is King, Kanye West has confirmed that he will run for the position of President of the United States.

The rapper had previously declared his intention to campaign for the top job, and now he’s reiterated his desire to become POTUS in 2024.

Yeezy was speaking at the fifth annual Fast Company Innovation Festival in New York, when he said; “When I run for President in 2024… What y’all laughing at?”

As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, he continued; “We would create so many jobs! I’m not going to run, I’m going to walk.

“When you see headlines saying Kanye’s crazy – one in three African Americans are in jail and all the celebrities are in jail also because they can’t say nothing, they got no opinion, they’re so scared!”

During his speech, West also signaled his intention to change his name.

What does he want to change it to exactly? Well, in Kanye’s own words; “When people say it’s crass to call yourself a billionaire, I say I might legally change my name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West for a year until y’all understand exactly what it is… It will be on the license plate.”

Jesus Is King has taken the Australian ARIA Album Chart by storm, with West’s album clocking its second week at #1 on the latest chart.

It’s now his most successful charting album in Australia, become his first to spend more than week week in the top spot down under.

The official video came out over the weekend, and stars West’s dad Ray. Check it out below:
