Kanye West Finally Releases ‘Jesus Is King’

Hell must have completely frozen over, because Kanye West‘s ninth studio album Jesus Is King is finally out in the world. Yes, for real. No, not a joke.

The 27-minute album was scheduled for release – after multiple delays – for midnight (New York time) yesterday but, unsurprisingly, was nowhere to be found once midnight struck.

Taking to Twitter, Kanye revealed that the album simply wasn’t finished and they had to some final mixes on a couple of the tracks. Deadlines mean nothing to this man.

“To my fans,” he wrote.

“Thank you for being loyal & patient. We are specifically fixing mixes on “Everything We Need” “Follow God” & “Water”.

He concluded the tweet with, “we not going to sleep until this album is out!”

He must have been one tired man, because the album dropped some 12 hours later.
