Australian musician Keli Holiday has released his new single ‘horsepower’, today on Thursday, 29th February. The song is Inspired by 90s British pop music but mixed with Holiday’s usual cool style, ‘horsepower’ is like a fun rollercoaster ride for your ears that makes you pay attention.
Holiday says the song is about a strong and mysterious woman, mixing together qualities like power, charm, and a bit of risk.

‘horsepower’ is all about a woman who takes control of any room she walks into, showing both power and charm, explained Keli Holiday. “A woman that takes over any room for better or worse. “A woman that’ll pick you up in a Rolls Royce and drop you home in a hearse”. He said in a press release. “A diamond studded Gucci top with a shotgun in her purse. Powerful, strong, scary and sexy. That’s horsepower,”
Keli Holiday also shared a statement on his Instagram post, when announcing the new single. “Keli holiday is where I can share my ideas as vividly as I feel them and hopefully along the way make you shake your hips”. He said, ” Some ideas are ugly. Some are beautiful. But most of all they are to be authentic. It feels different now. More truthful to who I am and what I want to say. I can’t wait to share this next chapter. If you’re reading this I want to thank you. New song out Thursday. Let the holiday begin”.
This new single follows Keli Holiday’s successful first album from 2022, ‘KELI’, which got over 2 million plays and was praised by many music websites. And his songs have been played on big radio stations like triple j and KCRW.
Besides making music, Holiday has also been rocking the stage at festivals like Falls Festival and sold-out debut shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
