Returning from a recording hiatus for the past year or so, squirreling themselves away in a Nimbin studio, making a few live show forays up and down the East Coast, psyched out folk outfit Killed Two Birds return to Sydney the Jan 14th to spray The Sando with their own brand of spaced out sonic serum. They’ve also got a new single in hand, Shoot Me In The Back of The Head, a furious and whacked out number, and a taste of things to come.
Joining the band as main support will be Dark Bells. Delivering their own take on psychedelia and shoegaze, the three piece’s live show, often supplemented by epileptic visuals, have earned them a reputation as one of Sydney’s strongest new bands. Their bass led ephemeral guitar and vocal washed songs unfold slowly gathering momentum and force with each bar. Don’t miss them.
