Kicking off Friday, 7th June in Coffs Harbour, the Winter DJ Tour sees two of the biggest names in Australian EDM fuse their Djing abilities for a run of dates that hits most major cities. KIM and Beni will be bringing the heat to a venue near you for what is sure to be an otherwise bitterly cold winter.
You may already be familiar with Kim Moyes through his work as one half of The Presets. A respected DJ in his own right, Moyes has previously released Selected Jerks 2001 – 2009 under the moniker, and this will be the first run of DJ set shows as KIM in 4 years. No doubt eager for his long-awaited return, fans can expect an aural barrage of hard minimal techno and boogie house.
Another artist who you should be familiar with by now – Beni has maintained a strong presence on the live scene, collecting more followers with each show. With a sound that only just manages to squeeze into the confines of a festival stage, his club shows tend to blast into orbit.
The pair have been partners in crime for some time now, and it’s about time they took their creations to the people.
