Korn’s Jonathan Davis New Solo EP As ‘J Devil’

Korn frontman Jonathan Davis has revealed plans to release a new solo EP under his DJ name J Devil, which is used for his electro and heavy dub step music. So far there is no title, but it will be released in 2012.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, he explains his new-found passion for DJing, after collaborating with Skrillex last year. “It’s fun going from DJing electro and heavy dubstep to Korn. It’s therapy for me.” He’s been devoting a lot of his time to electronic music lately, even working on it while on tour with Korn “I’ve been working on my EP. I got a studio on the bus. I write every night,”

By the sounds of it, the album will have a lot of collaborations on it, so far naming Datsik, Infected Mushroom, Downlink, Excision, and Slugoo.

Korn’s latest abum The Path Of Totality is out now, their first since Korn III: Remember Who You Are, which was released in July 2010.
