Lana Del Rey Unveils First ‘Ultraviolence’ Single, ‘West Coast’

Following its live debut during her Coachella 2014 set, Lana Del Rey has officially unveiled West Coast, the first single to be taken from her highly anticipated third full-length studio album Ultraviolence, produced by The Black KeysDan Auerbach and reportedly slated for a May release.

Earlier today, Music Feeds reported that Del Rey had teased a portion of the track during a recent gig at The Chelsea in Las Vegas. Unsure of whether she should play the unreleased single, Del Rey opted to sing “a little bit of the verse” without her band. Readers can see the rendition here.

A full performance of the highly anticipated new single was then included during Del Rey’s Coachella festival set, which came ahead of the track’s official premiere on Fearne Cotton’s BBC Radio 1 show. Del Rey revealed in February that her new album is slated for a 1st May release.
