Lanie Lane Announces First 2013 Australian Tour For September

Sydney’s very own honky tonk songstress Lanie Lane has just announced that she’s returning to the stage, announcing her Hello Spring tour for this September, her first string of live shows following her well-deserved break from touring at the end of last year.

The 26-year-old singer-songwriter has been working on a bevy of new material, following up from the smashing success of her debut album, 2011’s To The Horses, and is pleased as punch to be playing her new tunes and old favourites live. Lane has revealed that her new songs are more personal and meaningful than ever before:

“I’m looking forward to coming out of this hibernation, to be on the stage, to re-connect with everyone. The new songs I have written have evolved into something very new for me, more personal, meaningful and dear to my heart than any other collection of songs I’ve written in my life. I hope people will be excited to hear them and open to grow with me.”

The tour kicks off in Adelaide on Friday, 13th September before stopping in Melbourne, Sydney and Brsibane. Lane will be playing in stripped-back mode, bringing the vocalist’s trademark intimate shows to old fans and new.

Tickets go on sale 9:00am AEST this Friday, 16th August from Lanie Lane’s official site.
