Everyone’s favourite pair of producers Disclosure have just dropped a surprise EP on fans, announcing a new, amazingly titled Moog For Love EP.
Featuring soul legend Al Green and the UK’s Eats Everything, the EP is as varied as it is short. Following on from the underwhelming reception to last year’s Caracal, it showcases the brothers’ versatility as songwriters, each track seeing them try out a slightly different musical direction.
The title track featuring Eats Anything sees them take a trip through some tropical garage fare. Meanwhile Feel Like I Do, which features Al Green sees the duo take a more laid back approach, the result being a soulful and delicate number that wouldn’t feel out of place on a chillout mix.
Boss on the other hand is more what you might expect from the Lawrence brothers, it’s hard edged dance-floor friendly style feeling, right at home next to their work on their first two albums.
Debuting Boss at Wild Life festival over the weekend, and Moog For Love on Zane Lowe’s World Record on Beats 1 Radio, excitement is high for the EP’s official release tomorrow.
