Paramore have delivered the next 4 tracks from their upcoming self-titled record, continuing with their promise to showcase one side of the vinyl version of their latest album at a time, streaming 4 tracks a pop over 4 nights.
Side B from the Tennessee pop punk trio’s latest kicks off with an ukelele interlude called Moving On, an ode to breaking up featuring Hayley Williams‘ trademark sweet vocals. The second track, Ain’t It Fun, is certainly the highlight of Side B, living up to its name with an upbeat vibe, a killer bass line from Jeremy Davis and backing from – wait for it – a gospel choir. The third track is the epic Part II, followed by the beautifully melancholic closer Last Hope.
While still retaining their distinctive sound, it’s obvious that the band has been through a significant line-up change since their last release. This is a Paramore that’s not afraid to try new things.
If you missed it, check out the first 4 tracks that were debuted yesterday, and stay tuned to Music Feeds for the next 2 installments.
Paramore is set for Australian release on Friday, 5th April.
