Slash has released a teaser of the first single, You’re a Lie off his second solo album, Apocalyptic Love. The ex-guitarist for Guns N Roses is releasing the album on his own record label, DikHayd International on May 22.
The full single will be premiered on Merrick and the Highway Patrol on February 27, but fans can now get an earlier listen after Triple M released a short preview today (listen below).
A few days ago, we announced the details of Apocalyptic Love, including that Myles Kennedy of Altar Bridge, will provide vocals for the record. Kennedy featured on a track on Slash’s self-titled first solo offering, released in April 2010.
The previous album featured a large array of guest appearances, including Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop and Fergie.
Will Apocalyptic Love follow suit?
The current Velvet Revolver guitarist is set to re-unite with the original members of Guns N Roses this April, when they are to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
