Luca Brasi Celebrate 10 Years Of ‘If This Is All We’re Going To Be’ With National Tour

Aussie rock lifers Luca Brasi are hitting the road to celebrate a milestone that’s equal parts emotional gut-punch and communal group hug…. 10 years of their beloved 2016 album If This Is All We’re Going To Be.

The Tassie faves have announced a national anniversary tour this May and June, alongside a limited gold vinyl repress of the record that helped define a generation of sweaty singalongs, late-night drives and feelings you probably still haven’t fully unpacked. Yep, the album that lived in sharehouse speakers, soundtracked heartbreaks, victories and everything in between.

When If This Is All We’re Going To Be landed back in 2016, it marked a serious turning point for the band. The songwriting dug deeper, the hooks hit harder, and the connection between Luca Brasi and their audience locked into something fiercely loyal. Those intensely personal songs quickly became communal anthems – built for packed rooms, shouted choruses and floors sticky with collective catharsis.

The record also pushed the band to new heights. It gave them their first appearance on the ARIA Albums Chart, landed ‘Anything Near Conviction’ in the triple j Hottest 100, and opened the door to bigger stages both here and overseas. Festival slots at Laneway, Splendour In The Grass and Falls followed, along with tours alongside heavyweights like Alexisonfire, Violent Soho and PUP, but the heart of Luca Brasi’s appeal never drifted far from where it started: raw connection and honest songs played loud.

Now, a decade on, they’re bringing those tracks back to the place they’ve always hit hardest – the stage.

Fans can expect nostalgia, volume, and the kind of collective yelling that feels less like a gig and more like a shared memory coming back to life in real time.
