Marvel Has Recreated More Legendary Hip-Hop Album Covers With Its Characters

Earlier this year Marvel recreated a bunch of classic hip-hop albums with their own comic stars and now they’ve gone and done it again with a whole new collection of records.

Dr. Dre‘s Compton, Missy Elliott‘s Under Construction and NasLife Is Good are among the albums getting the Marvel treatment this time.

Spiderman takes Nas’ place, Iron Man’s Riri Williams replaces Missy Elliot and Wakanda is the new Compton in these new appropriations.

Marvel editor-in-chief Alex Alonso originally said that the series was originally started to explore “the seamless relationship,” between hip-hop and comics.

There have been dozens of covers recreated now with record by Chance The Rapper, 50 Cent, Tyler The Creator and De La Soul among the previous highlights.

Check out the new selection of appropriations (via Billboard) and decide whether they’ve been able to trump the originals.
