His music’s cool and your girlfriend may have described his face as being chiselled by angels. Yes, we’re talking about Matt Corby, the folk-singing Sydneysider whose monster hit Brother came in at number 3 in this year’s triple j’s Hottest 100.
Corby’s last sold-out national tour Into The Flame saw him play 14 shows in 18 days, to 10,000 fans. This time around, Matt will be playing to crowds across the country in theatre venues during the month of June for what has been dubbed The Winter Tour.
An allocation of tickets will be available for pre-sale to fans ahead of the general public; for the pre-sale password fans need to head to www.mattcorby.com.au and sign up to the mailing list where they will also receive a free download of the track Winter from Matt’s 2010 EP, Transition to Colour. The fan pre-sale will be live from 9am to 6pm Thursday March 8.
