Megan Thee Stallion is set to perform at Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential rally in Atlanta on Tuesday (July 30, 2024). The “Hot Girl Summer” rapper is showing her support for Kamala’s bid to become the next President of the United States. This comes after Joe Biden announced he was stepping down and gave his “full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee for our party this year.”
Charli XCX, known for her hit record “Brat,” has also endorsed Kamala. The singer adopted the slogan “Brat Summer” and wrote on X, “Kamala IS brat,” in support of the Vice President. Charli’s latest album, “Brat,” was released on June 7. Following her endorsement, Kamala’s official campaign adapted its banner on X to match Charli’s “brat” style, featuring lowercase black lettering with a lime green background.

Charli explained her version of the word “brat” in a TikTok video, describing it as someone who is “a little messy and likes to party,” honest, and sometimes “volatile.” Kamala’s campaign cleverly integrated Charli’s music with clips of Kamala, adding a lime green tint to match the album’s cover. One of the popular quotes in the clips is Kamala telling the US president, “We did it, Joe,” after the 2020 election, marking her historic achievement as the first female Vice President.
Kamala Harris launched her campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination on July 22, following Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the 2024 election race. Her rally with Megan Thee Stallion and Charli XCX highlights the growing support from influential figures in the entertainment industry.
