Melbourne’s BANG! Announces Download Festival Afterparty Feat. Slipknot Cover Band

Headbangers still keen to rage on after Download Festival this weekend now have a set of coordinates to do just that.

Melbourne alternative nightclub Bang! is chucking an unofficial after-party for the international riff fest’s down under debut this Saturday, featuring a headlining set of Slipknot covers from local metal act Disasterpieces.

They’ll be supported by a crop of 100% organic homegrown talent in the form of Spectral Fires, Kids In Control and Stranger, plus the house DJs spinning all your fave Download bands’ tunes and more punk, rock, hardcore and metal bangers.

Any of you maggots heading to Bang! (located at Bourke Street’s Royal Melbourne Hotel, FYI) from the fest can present their ticket for discounted entry.

ICYMI (how?)  Download fest will make its Aussie debu at Flemington Racecourse this Saturday, 24th March, with Korn, Prophets Of Rage, Limp Bizkit and four stage-loads more.
