MGMT Will Return In 2017 To “Re-Dominate Your Mind Hole”

MGMT have taken to social media to announce that they’ll return to the fore with new music in 2017.

The American psych-pop-electro-rockers last released new music in 2013 in the form of their self-titled third album MGMT.

The latest news from the band is the latest update in a series which started on Boxing Day in 2015 announcing that 2016 would be the year of their return, but now it appears that return has been rescheduled.

“Hogwash, all of it,” tweeted MGMT during yesterday’s US Presidential debate, before going on to say, “Meant to say MGMT re-dominates your mind hole in *2017.”

The duo last performed in Australia between 2013 and 2014, as part of Falls and Southbound Festivals around New Year’s. Catch the band’s latest tweets, below.
