American singer-songwriter Michael Marcagi has announced his debut Australian tour for July 2024. He is known for his hit song ‘Scared To Start’.
The tour will begin at Brisbane’s The Triffid on Monday, 15th July, followed by Melbourne’s The Russell on Wednesday, 17th July, and will conclude at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Sunday, 21st July.
Michael Marcagi – ‘In The Light’
Michael Marcagi is hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, built his career through grassroots support on social media, particularly TikTok. His folk-rock sound resonated with listeners worldwide, with “Scared To Start” going viral and gaining millions of views on TikTok. The song’s success landed Marcagi a record deal and propelled him into the international spotlight, reaching the Top 10 in the UK and US and the Top 20 in Australia and New Zealand.
Michael Marcagi’s debut EP, “American Romance”, released earlier this year, showcases his talent for authentic storytelling and timeless songwriting. Produced by David Baron, the album has received acclaim, with Ones To Watch calling it “the calling card of one of 2024’s most exciting new artists”.
