Miiesha Enlists Briggs, JessB & More For ‘Nyaaringu’ Remixes

Miiesha is still busy riding the wave of creating one of the best albums of the 2020 so far, and now she’s enlisted a few familiar faces to rework two cuts from Nyaaringu.

The Woorabinda prodigy is celebrating giving her debut collection of songs a physical release, along with remixes to the tracks ‘Blood Cells’ and ‘Hold Strong’.

Briggs is the sole addition to the new version of ‘Blood Cells’, while Miiesha is joined by JessB, Jesswar and Hoodzy for the ‘Hold Stong’ remix.

Nyaaringu is a collection of stories that I feel I wanted to tell or that I needed to speak on,” Miiesha says of the album.

“For me it represents my journey and where I’m at now coming from Woorabinda. The interludes in the collection are recordings of my Grandmother speaking. For me she was and always will stay with me as the strongest voice in my life so I felt she had to be a part of this with me.”

Miiesha has enjoyed huge acclaim for Nyaaringu since its release. MusicFeeds called it one of the best albums of the year so far, as well as deeming lead single ‘Twisting Words’ one of the best Australian songs of the year so far.
