Glaswegian post-rockers Mogwai have released their latest video for The Lord Is Out Of Control, the latest single from their upcoming eighth studio album, Rave Tapes, the band’s follow-up to 2012’s A Wrenched Virile Lore. The first single from the album was the Moroder-esque Remurdered.
The clip was filmed and directed by photographer/filmmaker Antony Crook, who previously served as Mogwai’s tour photographer for one of the boys’ stints in Japan, as well as having taken the shot which adorns the cover of the band’s 2011 album, Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will.
Rave Tapes is slated for an Australian release of Monday, 20th January 2014 via Spunk Records. The Scottish five-piece recorded the new record at Castle Of Doom Studios in their hometown of Glasgow, with production by Paul Savage, who helmed their 1997 release Young Team.
