Morrissey Australian Tour Dates Announced

UPDATE 02/08/16 1.37pm: Morrissey has addressed the reason why he will be skipping Brisbane on his upcoming Australian tour.

Original Story: After a brief period of teasing, the great Morrissey has confirmed and announced a run of headline shows Down Under set for October.

Objectively regarded as a living legend of music, you’d be hard pressed to find a musician as influential or formative to the musical landscape as this guy. Rising to prominence as vocalist for indie rock titans The Smiths and has remained a mainstay of the scene throughout his various incarnations through to solo artist.

Stand out solo releases like Viva Hate and Kill Uncle were held in equal regard to seminal albums from The Smiths, a worthy feat when you consider just how furiously loyal those followers are.

This is Morrissey’s first return since 2012 but this time will be a tad different. For the first time ever, Morrissey will be performing in some of our regional gems: Wollongong, Newcastle and our beloved capital Canberra.

Tickets to this will simply walk out the door so prep those ticket-buying fingers, as this will be one for the ages.
