Hattie Carroll are one of the more buzz-worthy independent bands to come out of the Northern Beaches in recent years. Commanding a unique sound that blends indie rock with jazz and hip-hop influences, they’ll be bringing that buzz with them into Music Feeds Studio for Music Feeds LIVE.
This unique five-piece — Matt Stewart (guitar and vocals), Sean Dooley (keyboards and vocals), Matt Horgan (bass guitar), Tim Geldens (drums and percussion), and James Fredrick Anthony (guitar and vocals) — started out as four guys recording demos in a high-school music class.
Following the addition of drummer Geldens, the band adopted an experimental streak that saw them dominate Sydney venues like the Oxford Art Factory, the Standard, and the Annandale, and record a debut EP, which is set for release on Friday, 14th February at FBi Social in the Kings Cross Hotel.
