My Chemical Romance Announce Deluxe Edition Of ‘Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge’

My Chemical Romance are continuing their stratospheric resurgence, unveiling plans to unleash a deluxe edition of their 3x-platinum certified sophomore album, Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, 21 years – almost to the day – after its original release.

The souped-up version of the emo icons’ ground-breaking 2004 LP will reach our ears on Friday, 6th June, complete with new mixes and masters from GRAMMY Award-winning producer Rich Costey, new artwork, and four bonus live tracks recorded for BBC Radio 1 in 2005. The first of those to hit the internet is a live recording of their 3x-platinum hit ‘I’m Not Okay (I Promise)’, which you can listen to just below.

Fans will be able to grab the Deluxe Edition on CD, multiple coloured vinyl variants including an epic zoetrope 2LP, as well as digitally. You can pre-order it HERE.

My Chemical Romance’s Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge didn’t just redefine 21st-century rock—it launched the band into global superstardom. Widely hailed as a genre-shaping masterpiece, the album landed on Rolling Stone’s ’40 Greatest Emo Albums of All Time’ and Spin’s ‘300 Best Albums of the Past 30 Years’. Two decades on, Three Cheers has sold over 7 million copies worldwide—and its legacy still bleeds red and black.
