Naked Creative has Sydney turned on to something new

Naked Creative is a new night that has Sydney turned on to something new at the lounge of the Village Hotel. The night will host original music from 8pm every 2nd and 4th Wednesday and original art every 1st and 3rd Wednesday. Tickets are only $5

From the organisers:
We are aiming to create a night of regular Wednesday entertainment that, no matter who is on the bill, you will enjoy what you see. This isn’t about bums on seats, it’s just about having a kick arse night. Come and check us out!

This Wednesday 15th, artist Lauren Yates will be exhibiting her ‘Cabinet of Natural Curiosities‘, a one-night-exhibition featuring her most recent works of 2010. Feast your eyes upon a delectable array of her photography, video work, and a botanical installation that will confuse your senses.

There are also some of Australia best singer song writers already booked into play. Tim Ireland (Sept 22nd) and Melanie Horsnell (Oct 20th). Tim Ireland is an accomplished performer and songwriter whose worked with the likes of the Shipwrecked, Damien Lane and Josh Schuberth (drummer to Josh Pyke) and his debut album “Down in the Well” is a favourite among reviewers and fans of darkly poetic story driven song writing. Melanie Horsnell is the sweetheart of acoustic pop/rock and has supported acts such as Jason Mraz, The Frames, Bernard Fanning, Josh Pyke, Lou Rhodes (Lamb) as well as toured Australia, U.S and Europe and performed at Festivals such as The Great Escape and Festival of the Sun.

*The night kicks of at 8pm and you can enjoy bottles of Coopers Pale, Heineken and other boutiques and imports for just $6.
