The Mighty Boosh’s very own Noel Fielding has had a hiccup in what has otherwise been a well-received Australian tour. According to recent tweets from Inpress, the comedian has cancelled, changing stories as to the reason why.
The show was scheduled to run as planned tonight at Victoria’s Athenaeum Theatre for the first of two shows at the venue. Word began to spread that the man of many characters was running late, before it was confirmed that he was cancelling altogether.
Here’s when things get a tad sticky. What was originally described by the venue as ‘technical difficulties’ that were preventing the show from going on, quickly turned to health issues, with Fielding apparently suffering from stomach pains.
Inpress has advised ticket holders that tickets for tonight’s show will now be valid on Thursday’s performance at the same venue.

#Noelfielding excuse for canceling switched from tech problem to stomach upset. One of these excuses is not like the other
